I am 25 years old, 5′2 and weight 212 pounds. I lost 6 pounds so far and continuing to do. I’m starting school again in a few days and I want to start off looking really good. I have no sense in fashion whatsoever and do not know where to start. What are some fashion tips for plus size women? stores? body shapers?
First off, find a tailor. A good tailor. Most plus size clothes are squares, and well, I don’t know anyone who is shaped like a square. A tailor will help make sure everything fits correctly, because nothing will fit you properly right off the rack. You’ll want to make sure that the clothes you buy have an emphasis on the ‘natural’ waistline, which is right below the bust, it will emphasize that part which is always the smallest on any woman. And don’t be afraid of color, but not crazy color, just a pop here and there. Lastly, wear what makes YOU feel good. If you feel good in it, you will have confidence that shows through. Good luck!
i love frankie from the sat’s and cheryl Cole’s style, just wondering if anyone knows a fashion website that re-creates their looks??

Do any of you know of any fashion shows going on that I might be able to get us in to, or any other sort of glamorous events? I’ve got a couple of celeb connections that might be able to get us into things so don’t hold back :).

No, I am not interested
ok well i want to have a light breezy carefree fashion with stuff like jean shorts and a flowy blouse and a belt and some cork sandals and junk like that. Does anyone have any fashion tips for me? Plz give me makeup and acsessories with the outfits. Also, i want something to fit my tallness.
Get a gorgeous pair of blue jeans.Show off your long legs(wear shorts or a skirt)..When buying tops, avoid necklines that are too close to, or hide, your neck - such as crew-necks and turtlenecks.Get an expensive cut for your hair. You can get it trimmed at a cheap place, but a college student is not going to know what flatters your structure.Use a subtle eyeliner to bring out the color of your eyes. A chocolate brown looks good on everyone also use clear mascara. .Make your cheeks look gorgeous with a subtle blush or bronze.Use a tinted Chapstick or gloss to draw attention delicately.
You know one of those days where you don’t feel like doing your hair or putting makeup on and just want to put on some sweats or a big tee shirt but still look cute so you can still go about your day .
quick hair , makeup , fashion .
My lazy day routine:
*Hair- I have long wavy blonde hair, so usually I’ll just brush it out and it looks semi-decent enough to leave down, spray a little hairspray and kind of ’scrunch’ a little to add texture and it’s that ‘bed-head’ look that is in right now. Usually my bangs go nuts when I sleep, so I’ll just pin them back. A low side ponytail ALWAYS works in a pinch, though. French braided bangs also look good with messy-ish hair, and YouTube tells you how to do that.
*Make-up- Just the basics, foundation, powder, a little shimmery champagne eyeshadow, mascara, chapstick.
*Fashion- I love leggings, and I’ll pair them with a longish sweater (that totally covers my a*s, btw, I don’t think leggings are pants, lol) Then I’ll just wear moccasins/flats/Uggs with them and it’s the MOST comfortable outfit ever. Better than sweats, I think.
Hope I helped a little!(:
