What are some fashion tips for a bulky guy?

I am 6′-0" tall and 210 lbs. I wouldn’t consider myself fat but I am bulky. I used to be slim when I was younger but I did weight training for a couple years and took supplements and I got myself to a decent build. I’ve been lazy the last 3 years and my clothes don’t quite fit the same as they used to. I want to get back to the gym and get back to my ideal weight but in the meantime I need some new clothes. What are some fashion tips for a bulky guy?

Try broadcloth or oxford button up shirts. Obviously those aren’t everyday clothes, but they help by creating a vertical button line, and are crisp not clingy. Wear hoodies with a slim seam (not the state university baggy nasty ones, ones like this: http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?productId=0195_9595_073&catId=cat90020) Wear nice dark jeans. Dark sweaters. Grey, dark brown, and black all are very trimming. Wear thin vertical stripes, if you like patterns.
Here are things to avoid:
You know those high-waisted, faded indigo jeans you see farmers wear? Yeck. Avoid those at all costs.
Avoid clingy or loose shirts. Hardly any one can pull them off and for some reason it’s the large people that try to.
Do not, under any circumstances, wear turtlenecks. 99.9 percent of guys can’t pull this look off and it tends to add bulk.
Ugly Christmas sweaters. I mean as joke they’re funny, but if you’re a festive kind of guy, I’ll be honest and tell you they look garish
Besides those things, you can honestly experiment. If you dress with style, people will focus on your clothes rather than the bulk. Good luck and I wish you a Merry Christmas!

Try maxi dresses. In brighter colors. They compliment any shape body, If it’s cooler where you live try blazers or leather jackets as they bring the attention to make it look like your body is more flowing and less triangle.

Scarves can also be a great way to bring the attention to your upper half

it has heaps of fashion ideas for any body size, its got celebrity ‘get there look’, users readers as models instead of stick girls and it has affordable fasions too! it also has a good reality check on pictures and ‘Think.Do.Be.Positive’ is there motto

Well, my stomach is all droopy…. it makes me look fat.
Now, I’m not anorexic, I still eat. But I’m in perfect heath, so I really don’t need any extra workout.
But I love dressing up in clothes. What are some fashion tips that will create a illusion to make someone look skinnier?

1) Wear the appropriate size. I have never understood why for example a size 7 would squeeze into a 3 just because they can get the pants to zip. It’s not as though other people know what size it is! If you wear too small, it emphasizes fat (and not to mention muffin tops are disgusting) If you wear too big, you look like you’re drowning in material. Get a nice, smooth fit.

(Found this on google: Some believe that wearing baggy clothing makes them look thinner. Actually the opposite holds true, baggy clothing can make you look bigger and sloppier. Baggy clothing allows for no shape or definition to your figure. At the same time, extremely tight clothing is also not good. Most times tight clothing draws attention to problem areas, bulges and bumps. There are times that tight clothing can even expose that unsightly cellulite in thighs and buttocks. It is possible to wear fitted clothing that is NOT too tight. When dressing in fitted pieces, please make sure that the clothing does not expose any bulges or bumps. If you are waist training and want to lose an inch or two off your waist, you should buy your shape wear one size too small. For example, if I am a size medium blouse, I would buy a small in shape wear. Keep in mind, shape wear is not necessarily meant to be comfortable when used for waist training.)

5. Low rise jeans that sit comfortably at your waist give the allusion of being slender

6. IF you wear patterns, make sure they are small.

7. Wear High Heels. Wearing high heels can help you look thinner in two ways. Number one and the obvious, high heels make you look taller. The taller you are the thinner you appear. Number two, heels are also great for your legs. High heels make your calves look slender and more defined. High heels are a must for looking thinner without losing weight

8. Good posture.

9. Boat neck necklines, which are popular for spring’s ¾ length sleeve tops, have a slimming effect on the upper body.

10. .Pulling your hair up and away from your shoulders will peel away pounds. Try sweeping your hair into a high ponytail and you’ll be surprised at how much slimmer your face looks.

11. Not only are vertical- and pin-stripes slimming, but asymmetrical stripes such as miter stripe blouses and tunics also work. They have a lengthening effect on your upper body.

12 .A sheer blouse over a matching opaque tank skims the body so your entire silhouette looks slimmer.

I would like to be more "make up friendly" for this school year and i need tips for just simple make up use for eyeshadow, cover up, and mascara. Also, how can I apply accessories to my everyday looks to make it seem more "fashionable"? HELP!

Scarves. They Vera Bradley or Old Navy. I love mine:)
Cardigans. Target, Abercrombie, Hollister…love them!!!
Just keep the makeup basic. You want people to look qt you and think "wow, shes pretty", not "wow, she’s wearing too much makeup.."
I like black mascara, little eyeliner, (black), tasteful amount of eyeshadow, and gloss. Target can be even better then sephora with prices. But not as fun!
Dark wash jeans (not JUST skinny) and cute basic tops are fine!
